Island County Ultrasound is dedicated to providing you with a one-on-one personalized experience. Our policies are in place out of respect for all of our clients and our staff.

ARRIVAL TIME

Arrive at your scheduled time. Wait in your car OR in our designated outdoor waiting area until 5 minutes before your scheduled time. We are unable to accommodate early or late arrivals. Strictly enforced. 

 

LATE ARRIVALS

Running behind? Things happen. Keep us informed. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a cancellation fee of $50. Most likely you will be asked to reschedule. Some exceptions could be made, determined case by case - a partial or full appointment may be considered. Special case exceptions will be only with advanced notification of your late travel. To prevent running behind on our schedule, your scheduled time may be shortened. 

 

NO SHOW POLICY

No-Show fee of $50 will be charged, if a client does not show up for their appointment. 12 minutes late to your scheduled time is considered a No-Show.

 

​SICK POLICY

If you are sick with symptoms of an illness of common cold, fever, flu, etc, contact us immediately to reschedule. We will hold a $50 cancellation fee. However, it will be applied to your next appointment.  Please wait one week until you feel well and are not contagious or your service will be denied. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

48 hour notice required to cancel/reschedule your appointment.  Less than 48 hours to cancel, or reschedule will be charged $50.

RESCANS

If we can’t obtain suitable images of a baby's facial features. One free rescan appointment will be offered at the discretion of the sonographer. *Rescans must be within 10 days of the initial visit. Baby still camera shy- additional rescan will be offered at 50% off. Still no guarantees. No refunds if face image is not obtained. We tried - and we can’t do anything if the baby doesn’t want to show its face. 

 

*Strictly enforced​ -no rescans after 10 days of initial appointment. As gestational age is a big factor as baby face changes.

GENDER GUARANTEE

At gender determination ultrasound, if gender is not identified. We offer a free rescan within 14 days. Best seen after 14+ weeks for a high accuracy rate, 90-97%. However, at no time 100%. No gender determination prior to 14 weeks offered. Sometimes, babies like to show it all!

 

REFUNDS

ALL SALES ARE FINAL & THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON ANY SERVICES RENDERED.

We guarantee to do our best to get beautiful images of your baby’s face. Remember, some factors are beyond our control, fetal position being #1, followed by, fluid, maternal body, etc. etc. therefore, no guarantee that the images will always meet your expectations.

All services are subject to price change without any notice.
